Tutoring Services

For K-12 Home School Students and Working Professionals Attending College

Clovis, New Mexico 88101

Semester: Fall 2023

Offered To: Working Professionals Attending College

Objective: To help working professionals with their college level assignments in most content areas.

Description:  The purpose of this tutoring session is to help adults attending college with the 'how to' portion of their assignment.  I frequently get these types of questions from clients....

At this time, I do not offer tutoring on content.  Instead I will work with you on how to learn, how to study, and how to successfully complete assignments  for your college level classes.

Semester: Fall 2023

Offered To: Parents and their children who are being home schooled.

Objective: To help parents with their home school needs such as general assignment completion, implementing effective educational strategies, working with kids on their curriculum, or tutoring in subjects a student is struggling with.

Description:  I work with home school students typically at their home but may meet parents and students in a public location such as a library or church.  During an initial 'meet and greet'  with you and your child, I will listen to your current goals/needs and tell you a bit about myself.  After getting a general idea of what kind of help you would like we can set up a time for me to come work with your child on the goals you outlined.  I am adaptable and flexible and can work with most curriculum and content.

At this time, I do not offer tutoring for children who are either under the age of 8 or who are working with kindergarten or first grade work.

At this time I do not offer content tutoring for upper level math: geometry, algebra-II, pre-calculus, trigonometry, or calculus.  Nor upper level science: physics and chemistry.  However, I can help students with how to learn about these topics: how to study for a test, note-taking strategies, break down readings, etc.
